He praised Rahul Gandhi’s initiative to impart leadership training to the youths for the betterment of the Congress party. The system of election process is very good one as there is, in fact, no loser and everyone is accommodated. Determination and will power-
Amar Sangno
ITANAGAR Jun 06: The recent success of Arunachal women in state competitive and joint entrance examinations has proved that Shakespeare’s famous soliloquy in Hamlet’ “frailty thy name is woman” is fatal flaw for them and it should be rather ‘determination thy name is women’. The state women are on its echelon, in terms of success and sheer determination. Women’s domination over the men can be easily seen in the recently concluded Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Examination and Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examinations where the top positions were secured by Shania Kayem Mize and Habung Yarang respectively.
Apart from Mize and Yarang, another lady, namely, Obang Taki has broke the jinx of tribal belief that male are more stronger than female. Taki has cracked the Indian Engineering Service (IES) Examination conducted by Union Public Service recently. She is the first lady IES from the state.
When asked by this correspondent Taki revealed that her father who died in car accident was her source of inspiration. She dedicated her success to her late father. However, she said that her unwavering will and sheer determination was the driving force for her success. She further twitted that any person guided by its sheer determination and strong will, would achieve its goal at the end.
Hailing from Panggeng village under East Siang district, Obing did her schooling from Jonai Jubilee Model School in Assam. Disclosing the reason for opting civil engineering; she said that she also wanted to contribute her share in nation building.
Apparently, Arunachal women are rising from its phoenix, outshining men in every field and empowering the women in the male dominated society state like ours.

The role of women in sustainable development
The role of women in the society as driving force in enhancing sustainable practices can not be denied. Today, women’s involvement in governance and their ability to influence lifestyle at household level is widely recognized world over.
